Interior Design and Sales Consultant
Home Furnishings Sales
Requirements
· Must be fun, creative and engaging.
· Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
· Strong sales skills. Understands and is able to manage the sales process, from prospecting to closing and after-sale follow-up.
· Self motivated, highly organized and goal oriented.
· Working knowledge of custom home furnishings (including window treatments) and interior design principals (especially space planning).
· Comfortable with a commission and bonus based compensation plan.
· Able to work some evenings (for in-home appointments and special events in our showroom) and Saturdays.
· Willing to go above and beyond the call to provide outstanding service to clients.
· Experienced and skilled in quickly building a client base.
· Proven track record of accomplishment.
· A reliable automobile is required due to the number of in-home appointments that you will conduct with your clients in order to provide the level of personalized service that has been the cornerstone of DOTI since 1983.
Must have a minimum of 2 years residential design sales experience
and/or a degree in interior design to be considered.

Compensation
Our performance based compensation program, including a draw during your ramp-up period, a very competitive commission structure which is among the best in the industry is designed to encourage and reward outstanding performance.
